Sound knowledge on coarse woody debris (CWD) decomposition, humus forms, pedofauna, microbiology and soil organic matter (SOM) can only be gained through an interdisciplinary approach of a joint project where complementary specific expertises are teamed together. Therefore, the D.A.CH-DecAlp research activities are organised in four different work packages (WPs). The main objectives of the four WPs, together with the names of the respective team members and collaborators, are shown below.
